Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull red iron scale mail. Her chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has gray eyes and a violet hat with a white feather.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired her part-time. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This man is very fat, and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Elaim was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He bought a falchion and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To be a Cook again; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
