History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Sage. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born to a Courier, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. River fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
