Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerard will drive conversation. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Gerard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, brown shirt, and white tie. Her crest, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Burana learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with her Bricklayer mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears professional attire. She has wavy brown hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She wears her white hair up in a very large beehive style do. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Grai hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's in love; and she has a crush on the local shipwright

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His red hair is long and unkept. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahrim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahrim. Being a Bowyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
