History: Hethress hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. After coming to the age of reason, Hethress took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Valorean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and further expansion of business

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his brother

Personality: She hates Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Guard mother left her crippled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.
