Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Birel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Birel. She has worked as a Sellsword like her father before her.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ozyman grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Ozyman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Architect. He has worked as a Architect like his father before him.
