He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Glim was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
