History: He was born in a small plains village. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Fabien lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Edge was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Althaea was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Locksmith. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
