History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Andraste was taken on many hunting expeditions. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
