His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Raer alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Maynild is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Maynild lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.
