History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tethren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the east. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
