She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. During his travels, Darrak and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Darrak discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Darrak fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
