History: Fabien was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fabien was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Gnome Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and an old rival family wants her found

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Marigold is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gifted student she started as a Sculptor, but she got bored and became a Mortician. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
