Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her long chestnut hair reaches down to her waist. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are violet.

Personality: She is a Barber first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Sammal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and many gnolls want her driven away

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull brown iron scale mail. Her white hair is smooth and relatively long. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a blue collared shirt and black pants. He accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Peren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Peren was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was a Marshal, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
