Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rieta fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Soveliss grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was a Unemployed, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

He prefers to carry a shortbow, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. His hair is dark red and very short. His skin is flawless and his gold eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is wracked by social anxiety
