Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Smoking learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to find somewhere to settle down
