History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Dain was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Dain took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Duergath and his spouse have recently divorced.
