History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the south to a Slave Trader, Barbena learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Barbena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
