Personality: Umpen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a white coat. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She wears her white hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Gaaki was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
