History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Butcher and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a Laborer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He struck the Blacksmith job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
