History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barakas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her broad white hat.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Murook was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them.
