Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a halberd on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halimath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His tied-back hair is golden. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Taklinn was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barkeep. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and money/treasure

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is dressed in an above average manner. Her brown hair is smooth and relatively long. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Barrister. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She got into the Barrister business at a young age. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barrister.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: An older woman who is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering her clean studded leather, she is not a threatening figure. Her long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has worked as a Gardener like her mother before her.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Mantus is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
