History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Faran's homeland. Faran decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His blonde hair is knotted and matted. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion.
