History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Veloptima was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Veloptima's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Harbek was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Serpent and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Rivaan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rivaan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a great chef.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
