History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shaena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Orsik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born in the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
