History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.
