Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for her, and Tomph does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born in the south to a Detective, Oren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Dagger was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Courier. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
