History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Spice Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and William does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. William was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
