She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and green handkerchief worn on her right side. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is a Shipwright first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

She has a long golden ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Ethereal learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.
