Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
