To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Abalaba. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: Symma was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
