History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emmeline was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Zepar was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
