Description: A middle-aged man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is singed and shortened. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. A true patriot, Einkil would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Einkil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Einkil was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a whip, but if one is not available he will default to his shield. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Expert school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Tailor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tailor responsibilities is difficult.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and revenge
