History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Helgret was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.
