History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Chaedi was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chaedi's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She got into the Cartwright business at a young age. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
