Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dagger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He tends to his Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a morningstar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Thiala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thiala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and wishes to resurrect an old love
