Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Paela hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Paela liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Cumpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cumpen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cumpen. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and regain custody of her daughter

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Silent's homeland. Silent decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Chaedi is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Chaedi alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chaedi fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of drow
