Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Elaim embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Adventurer profession.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Adventurer again.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gomory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Siffress was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
