History: Kyle was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kyle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Through the years after Vrondiss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Vrondiss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
