Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Kadana hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
