History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cumpen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
