History: Kansif hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age her father died while driving off some giants. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in quarterstaff use. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kansif fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. William was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Butcher. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'10" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She tends to wear a large white jacket. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Gardener. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ekk is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Ekk learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To be a Roofer again; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He carries with him a set of swords, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. He is baby faced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, red shirt, and grey tie. He has no hair. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
