Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thokk's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Thokk and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born in the east to a Carter, Portia learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Bather, but she got bored and became a Carter. She became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.
