History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was.
