History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Varis began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This man is renowned for his bright pastel suits and hats. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His brown fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Emerald took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Cloak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to protect his home

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Richard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
