History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Dara was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Dara never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Mialee hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and many giants want her driven away
