Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Caelynn is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Therai was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Therai's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. This brown eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Kildrak will drive conversation. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to get a good night's sleep
