Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, marred by beers. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He takes great joy in being the best Shoemaker in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is dark red, silky, and of moderate length. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: She sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly daggers and nunchakus. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the left. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a map maker again

Description: He very much looks the part of a Painter. He has no hair. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Mantus hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mantus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. A true patriot, Agatha would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
