History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Numba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Numba. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

He found a children's book about a Dwarf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
