History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ozyman abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

History: He was born in the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents enrolled her in a Wizard school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
