Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the east to a Farmer, Vrondiss learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fletcher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her silver hair is singed and shortened. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Sarai is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her black hair is knotted and matted. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She was born in the north. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Beatrice was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away; and a deep hatred of goblins
